Grey region in the compilation of squander paper in India-
• There are no specific machines for waste collection from offices and households.
• Using newspaper for packing various items.
• Municipalities are not focusing on the waste management network accurately.
• No space for storage or sorting of squandering paper.
• An inaccurate connection between the waste paper supply chain and informal sector.
Recycling is the key element of modern waste consumption in India. All the government bodies and citizen are not well aware of paper recycling. As compared to other countries paper waste in India is less. It is essential to understand that organization paper properly will benefit the environment. It is a boon for all the organizations, as once a paper is recycled it can be used for a long time.

There are several machines that help in paper management so as to produce less waste. They are cost effective and improve the environment so that one can be free from diseases. Circuitously it assists in green revolution and saves the atmosphere from global warming. Craft paper baler is used which can help in counting the length of the paper automatically.
Sorting of paper- one must gather tidy paper so that it can be recycled accurately. The paper should have no contamination like food, metal etc as it makes difficult for a paper to get recycled. The contaminated paper is then composted so that it can produce energy.

In India and other countries, the paper is sorted according to different groups. Proper groups are made in which the best and worst qualities of papers are distinguished. This makes easy for a person as he can know which paper can be recycled and which can be composted from producing energy.

Collection and transportation- the next step after sorting the paper are collect them and transfer it to the recycling center. They collect and recover paper at regular intervals. After this process, the collected paper is then wrapped in bales and then delivered to paper mills in which it is renewed into a new paper.

In India, there are an endless number of paper mills that perform these functions so as to meet the demand of paper every day. They take all the required steps so that paper can be recycled appropriately. By paper recycling machines one can increase the employment and reduce the cost. Moreover, these machines are used to deliver the best quality of a paper.

In India there are many manufacturers who are offering baling press machine to manage paper waste. some manufacturing vertical balers to bundle the paper waste. One company Advance Hydrau-Tech known for manufacturing wide range of Paper Waste Balers and automatic balers

Advantage of Recycling Equipment to go Green

Metal recycling is the process of recycling ferrous and non-ferrous metal products to reuse it in manufacture of new products. Aluminium and steel are the two most widely recycled metals. Recycling does not alter the properties of metals and reduces the global energy expenditure and pollution. It has been observed that over the last two decades, recycling of metal products has decreased by almost 20%, which is quite alarming. Small and large scale industries are encouraged to recycle as much metal as they can by using the latest recycling equipments.

Recycling Equipment :

Recycling equipment enables one to conserve the limited resources at hand and create new products out of scrap material. Some of the popular recycling equipments include baling machine, compactors, shredders, conveyors and scrap metal baler.

The use of recycling procedures results in reduction of wastes and sustains the global economy by fuelling the industries. Metal, plastic, paper and glass can be processed in order to convert them into finished products. Use of highly efficient recycling equipment like a metal scrap baler is a necessity to minimise pollution. In modern world, products are made of many materials, making their separation and processing a complex task. For instance, a cell phone can contain over 40 elements, including precious and base metals. This has resulted in low recycling rates which must be boosted. A product centric approach is being used instead of material centric approach by several industries globally to improve recycling efficiency. Targeting specific components of products at their end of life and processing them can boost recycling processes remarkably.

After separation of scrap metal and non metals, a baler machine is used to compact the scrap. A metal scrap baler can be used to form solid blocks of waste metals like steel for easy transportation and handling. Depending on the baling machine owned, the recyclable blocks vary in weight and size. Out of the many variants available in market, vertical balers are typically used in recycling industries.

What all can be recycled:

Almost all iron, steel and aluminium products can be recycled. This also includes products made of ferrous alloys like cast iron and stainless steel. Some recyclable products include soda and tin cans, auto parts, old car bodies, appliances, doors and windows, cast iron pipes, machinery, rails, tram tracks and water tanks and heaters

Save the environment with recycling processes:

The huge array of applications of ferrous and non-ferrous metals has forced mankind to adopt techniques for its long term sustained supply. Recycling equipment like baling machine has become essential to all manufacturing industries for reusing the raw materials. Use of recycling processes enables industries to recover metals like steel and aluminium from scrap. Extraction of aluminium and steel is otherwise and expensive and polluting process with release of an astounding amount of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere. Thus, by recycling one reduces the burden on our natural resources, eliminates the risk of land and air pollution, and also sustains the economy by saving money. In essence, recycling is beneficial to all parties in many respects. With the development of latest equipments for this purpose, there is no bottleneck that must stop industries from recycling waste.

Recycling Ferrous and Non-Ferrous Materials Saves Money, Reduces Waste and Is Safe

Ferrous metals are those which contain iron as their main component, whereas non-ferrous metals do not contain iron. All over the globe, mankind is heavily dependent on non-ferrous and ferrous metals and their alloys. All industrial applications rely on these metals which are limited in quantity and must be preserved. Recycling has emerged as a viable alternative to reduce pressure on the existing reserves of metals. It is far more economical for the industries and is also eco-friendly.

Non - Ferrous Metals

The utility of ferrous and non-ferrous metals:

The common ferrous metals include mild steel, carbon steel, stainless steel, cast iron and wrought iron. Stainless steel contains nickel and chromium which makes it resistant to corrosion and suitable for production of surgical instruments and cutlery. Most ferrous alloys contain carbon which imparts it properties like malleability and ductility. Non-ferrous metals include aluminium, copper, silver, brass and lead. While aluminium is used in aircraft manufacture and kitchen ware, copper is widely used in wiring owing to its good electrical properties.

Recycling process:

The metal recycling industry has grown over time. Today, millions of tons of ferrous and non-ferrous metals are recycled by recycling companies each year and sold to the industries. Recycling of scrap metal utilises one or more of these processes:

  1. Sorting: All the scrap material is sorted into different categories to be recycled properly. Paper, plastic, ferrous and non-ferrous materials have to be separated from each other.
  2. Baling: Baling is an important step of the recycling process, for which a scrap baling press is utilised. The scrap baler utilises multiple compactors to bundle the scrap metal by applying pressure in 2 or 3 dimensions. The solid blocks formed can then be transported.
  3. Shearing: Using hydraulic machinery, metal blocks are cut into manageable size for further processing.
  4. Separation: After the waste bundling machine has formed blocks of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, they are further separated using several techniques like rotating magnetic drums or belts, liquid floating system and pressurised air flow.
  5. Melting: Finally, the recovered metal is melted in a high temperature furnace and casted into ingots. These ingots can be used in foundries or sold to industries where they are used in manufacture of products like cans, tins, tubing, furniture, flat sheets and so on.

The benefits of Recycling :

For over 150 years, metals like Steel and Aluminium have been recycled. Over time, high efficiency recycling equipments like waste bundling machine, shredder and baling machine have also been developed to power the recycling industry. Recycling has many advantages, which include:

  1. Recycled metals do not lose their original properties and can be used repeatedly for versatile applications.
  2. It reduces land and air pollution.
  3. Lesser energy is consumed in recycling using equipments like baling machine in comparison to ore extraction and mining processes.
  4. Due to lesser incidences of mining, many forests and landscapes are preserved. This also maintains the natural habitat in the area and maintains balance in our ecosystem.
  5. Reduces emission of toxic solid wastes and greenhouse gases

Recycling metals as well as non-metals drastically lowers the global energy consumption. Such efforts are being earnestly supported by government and all industrial sectors.
